A one room micropub that was a former pet shop. The layout consisted of a small bar area along the back wall, which was finished in stained pine. The seating was in the form of bench seating running across the front windows and down the left hand wall. Which had grey coloured foam seating and some coloured scatter cushions, which I moved to sit down. There was also about four traditional style low tables and stools. Five handpumps with three in use on my visit, serving Black Jack Brewery New Deck, North Riding Brewery Ella Pale Ale and Mrs P's Black IPA. There was also a choice of four key keg beers, served from taps on the right hand side of the bar. I went for the Ella Pale Ale which was excellent, so I ended up staying for four pints. The prices were very reasonable and my fellow drinkers, along with the barman, were all very friendly and chatty. This micro is well worth a visit in my opinion.
